There are now only 50 something Adult Community Education facilities, with the loss of another one last year as Western Springs College undergoes a much needed face lift. We encourage you to get out this winter and take up a short class on something that interests you. Knowledge is power and it is never too late to meet a few new people and try something new.
There is only a small amount of government funding available for these classes, but they are all very affordable, as you are part of a learning group using classrooms in the evening.
